Types And Working Principles Of Gummy Production Line

What are gummy candy made of?

Gummy candies, often called "gummies, jelly candy"etc. It have been a popular candy for decades. Known for their luscious flavour and chewy texture, these candies come in a variety of colours, shapes and flavours. However, have you ever thought about the basic ingredients of gummies?

Gummy are made up of three main ingredients, sugar, water, and gelatin or pection. Gelatin, a protein substance derived from collagen found in animal connective tissue, is an important ingredient in giving gummies their elastic texture.

The production of fudge involves heating and mixing these ingredients to create a syrupy consistency. This liquid is then poured into moulds and allowed to cool and solidify. Once hardened, the fondant is removed from the mould and packaged for sale.

In addition to these basic ingredients, countless flavourings and colourings are added to the mix to achieve a variety of flavours and appearances. Some gummies are produced using natural juices or extracts, while others use artificial flavours and colours.

There are many different types of gummy candy production lines, which can be distinguished based on the type of fudge produced, and the method of production, including

What are the main components of a gummy candy production line?

1. Batch wise jelly cooking system

This is where all the ingredients are placed to begin the production process.

2. Control Panel

You can configure all gummy-making operations.

3. Power supply

The Gummy Candy Maker requires electricity to operate.

4. Flavor, color, acid dosing and mixing system

mix the color and flavor here

5. Depositing and Cooling system

This is where the syrup depositing on the mould then going cooling and marinates.

6. Transportation system

It is suitable for conveyors and tracks that move materials from one section to another. Know that the formed fondant was shipped out.

How does a jelly candy production line work?

Understanding the production process and principles can effectively assist the production and design of gummies.

1. Cooling and solidification

After the mixture is fed back to the gummy candy production line, it solidifies through a refrigeration system to form a soft ribbon. It is necessary to pass the syrup through the refrigeration system because this is where the excess heat is removed.

2. Forming stage

Syrup deposit to the  desired size you specify in the control panel. They are then placed in moulds where they are shaped . Here they can be molded into any shape according to your production needs and target market. They are then cooled further to develop the correct texture and obtain the desired hardness.

3. Inspection phase

Candies are discharged from the system from the forming stage to the inspection stage. Here the sweets are sorted as per the required specifications. Candies that meet the required specifications are then transferred to the packaging stage.
