What Equipment does the Chewing Gum Production Line?
Gum base melter (gum base oven): precisely heats the gum base to the optimal viscosity (usually 80–95°C) for smooth processing.
✦ Pre-mixer: mixes the gum base with softeners (e.g. glycerin) before final mixing.
✦ High shear mixer: ensures uniform distribution of ingredients (sweeteners, flavors, colors).
✦ Vacuum kneader: removes air bubbles to give the candy surface a denser, smoother texture.
✦ Twin screw extruder: provides continuous, pressure-controlled extrusion.
✦ Multi-stage molding machine: produces a variety of shapes (pillows, flakes, spheres) using precision molds.
✦ Vibrating cooling tunnel: quickly cools the gum to 10–15°C to obtain a stable structure (cooling time is 3–8 minutes).
✦ Roller coater: Evenly applies sugar, wax or glaze.
✦ Polisher: Enhances surface gloss and prevents sticking.
✦ Pillow packaging machine: Automatically wraps individual gum in foil or film, sealing against moisture.
✦ Box/canning line: Packs individually wrapped gum into outer boxes or cans, attaches desiccant and seals it.
In addition to the more common shapes of pillow-shaped, sheet-shaped, and ball-shaped chewing gum, there are also special shapes such as hollow bubble gum. The shape of chewing gum is mainly achieved through interchangeable molding dies (quick release system), precision temperature-controlled extrusion, multi-stage molding presses, and computer-guided cutting systems. For example, star-shaped chewing gum is produced using magnetic quick-change modules and star-shaped cavities of different sizes.

2. If the heating element fails or the temperature control system fails, it may be due to internal mechanical damage

3. If the chewing gum sticks to the mold surface, it may be due to insufficient use of release agent
